The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 1500 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The INOPC team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.
Your responsibilities
Perform monthly NWC analysis for LPGs (agree with Hub Controller on LPGs) and consolidated analysis at Hub level.
Iinitiate actions to follow up and reduce overdue receivables. (propose to close bad debts where appropriate.
Set threshold for SIE per project, track status and provide timely alert to keep it under control.
Opex Analyzer to be updated every month – On time and ensuring compliance with recent Group instructions (relates to validation of savings)
Support HUB controller in compilation of BU financial review template. On time and of good quality.
Update Financial portion for ProMIS Project reviews – On time and right.
Quality Support on time approval of Promis data.
Support LPG controllers in performing balance sheet reviews. Compile information in preparation of review and analysis of data. Support LPG controllers in adhoc reporting and requests.
Support LPG controllers in compilation of their financial review template. Support with compilation of SG&A, Overdues and any other support they require on their file. Maintain the financial review template used to capture data. Ensure tool used is optimized and efficient to use.
Support HUB controller and HUB controlling support function to implement and streamline processes across the HUB.
Perform monthly Portfolio analysis for Hub based on Promis data.
Hedge file to be maintained Project wise with timely information to concerned for taking appropriate actions.

Your background
A Bachelor degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in project controlling activities.
Administrator experience in Project controlling tools.
Strong leadership skills.
