Job Description : We are currently looking for a full-time, experienced remodeler with a minimum 5 years’ professional trade experience. We are a licensed Virginia contractor that performs projects for residential, light commercial, and government in the greater northern VA area. We are looking for individuals who can perform all aspects of remodeling and carpentry, including light electrical, door hanging, light plumbing, drywall hanging/finishing, painting (roller and brush), bathroom remodeling experience preferred and more. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, speak English (fluent isn’t a requirement but must be conversational), and have and maintain a valid driver’s license – no recent DUIs or reckless driving and have reliable transportation. The selected candidate must be able to successfully complete a criminal record background check.We offer government work wage scales for government contracts.Responsibilities:Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildingsPerform various carpentry and painting tasks in commercial, residential, and government settingsMaintain a clean and a safe work spaceAble to work Saturdays if neededAble to work overtime if neededPerform other duties, as assignedQualifications:Previous experience in construction and remodeling preferredFamiliarity with hand-held tools and equipmentDeadline and detail-orientedAbility to handle physical workloadJob Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hourBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offSchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeWeekend availabilityAbility to commute/relocate:Virginia: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Construction: 5 years (Required)Work Location: Multiple Locations
