Job Description : Safety Manager (Industrial – Chemicals), Ashtabula, OH area. Relocation assistance available. Salary: $120K to $135K + 20% bonus. Assume an EHS role as project engineering leader for an established plant. With a team of direct reports oversee activities to include inspections, industrial hygiene, emergency response, training, workers compensation, compliance, mechanical engineering on equipment, maintenance hazard materials, mechanical design reviews, fire protection equipment. Requires a BS or MS in Safety, Health or an Environmental field, 8+ years experience in chemical manufacturing, extensive knowledge of safety compliance regulations, industrial hygiene (quantitative and qualitative), case management, industrial, medical practice, hazardous materials evaluation and control, workers compensation, emergency response, ergonomics, process safety management, and job/task analysis, knowledge of technical aspects of personal protection equipment.Job Type: Full-timePay: $120,000.00 – $135,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftWork Location: One location
