Job Description : Valiant is seeking an individual to serve as Security Specialist for the MAGTF Staff Training Program (MSTP).

Responsibilities:
Report to the MTSS Task Order (T.O.) Manager and collaborate with the MSTP Chief of Staff (CoS) and Security Manager on all security-related work tasks.
Work and collaborate directly with the MSTP Security Team which currently includes two (2) government service (GS) security personnel overseeing the MSTP Security Program.
Maintain a physical presence at the MSTP Security Control Desk each workday for eight (8) hours per day in order to verify visitor security clearances, process Visit Access Requests (VARs) and rosters via the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), and greet/badge visitors requiring access to MSTP facilities and workspaces.
Inventory, maintain, issue, and recover visitor badges.
Create and manage Visitor Control Logbooks.
Operate the facility’s AMAG Technology security control system by creating, updating, and deleting security profiles and badges.
Assist in the activation and deactivation of appropriately installed Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Access Control Systems (ACS) via AMAG systems.
Direct and coordinate with MSTP personnel the escorting of un-cleared and cleared visitors. Inform the Security Manager and Security Management Team of any visitor lacking a proper security clearance.
Receive and follow the opening/closing schedule for MSTP workspaces to ensure personnel accessibility to support MSTP daily operations, exercises, training events, war games, and events focused on outside organizations.
Prepare for and support command security inspections, to include physical security equipment (PSE) and physical security standards (PSS) program reviews, and assist with visits related to the MSTP Information and Personnel Security Program (IPSP).
Prepare and maintain, at least annually, an updated turnover binder to ensure continuity of the command’s security program.
Perform MSTP security indoctrination and refresher training for all MTSS contractors assigned to MSTP.
Update MTSS contractor security access rosters to include next investigation dates in coordination with assigned contractor company security personnel.
Oversee, manage and update security training certificate folders on the MSTP SharePoint.
Assist with the preparation and staffing of MTSS contractor System Authorization Access Requests (SAARs).
Assist with the completion and verification of attestation forms related to security.
Assist with the identification and correction of errors in DISS via their help desk.
Assist, when possible, with the training of new security personnel with particular emphasis on MSTP Security processes and procedures.
