Position : Shipping Clerk
Job Description : The Shipping Clerk will be a vital member of the MD3PL team. They will be responsible for all trailer check-ins, diver interactions, conduct yard audits, and support the warehouse team to ensure prompt arrivals and departures of all third party freight. The Shipping Clerk will follow all documented processes for the shipping area and are expected to help maintain a focused, safe, and respectful environment. The Shipping Clerk will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisors and Customer Service Reps to ensure prompt deliveries and shipments. This position requires an individual who has the ability to multitask, be organized, and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.Essential Job Functions:Demonstrate efficient communication with all third party driversPromptly check in and out all containersAccurately update all WMS and warehouse documentsUpdate and Create shipping reportsYard auditsVerify Driver seals and enforce safety proceduresCoordinate shipping schedule with warehouse teamEnsure customer orders are delivered on time report to Warehouse Manager if there is a delayUtilizing 3PL Software System DailyOther duties as assigned by ManagementPosition Requirements:Previous Shipping experience in 3PL organizationBilingual (preferred)Standard Computer skillsCommunication skillsDemonstrate time management excellenceSuperior attention to detailPositive attitude, self-motivated and ability to work in a fast paced environmentExcellent multi-tasking and organizational skillsMicrosoft OfficeWMS SystemJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Florence, NJ 08518: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: One location
