We are here to help you!”The Social Media and Marketing Assistant will work closely with team members to implement quarterly and yearly social media campaigns that align with our brand and voice. This position will be responsible for creating and writing creative content to showcase our products and services, and to bring awareness to our brand through social media and email marketing. This role will also be responsible for maintaining the company’s social media accounts while also engaging with followers. Some of these duties will include: directing, filming and editing video content, write and publish blogs on our website, create and write content for social media, research industry and brand related hashtags. The person hired will also be responsible for developing business rapport with other local small businesses for cross marketing concepts, collaborations, event designing, as well as being the go to person to handle all events coordination such as bridal and trade shows. In addition we are seeking a highly self motivated and outgoing person who is passionate about their work and our mission statement.This position is mainly remote, but does require at least two days a week of in office work. All training will be done in-person.Responsibilities: Manage and maintain social media account(s) while engaging with followers, liking tagged photos, provide assistance with managing private Facebook group, and help with replying to social media messages as needed.Create and write content for email marketing, blogging, social media and any other marketing needs.Work closely with team members to create a cohesive look with branding content and ensuring that all content that is created matches the voice, style and brand of the company.Build funnels, landing pages, pop up ads and contact forms as needed for marketing campaignsCreate actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTokStay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing and attributionAssist with event planning, including working with vendors, event coordinators, and design teams for on-site and off-site events, including collaborations.Build relationships with other local and small businesses to cross market and bring brand awarenessDesign and create marketing materials including flyers, banners, business cards and other related materials necessary for marketing needs.Requirements: Desired experience of 2+ years in marketing and salesMust have at least 1+ years in social media management for business accountsKnowledge of marketing related business practices, including advertising, market research, media channels and budgeting.Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business’ various types of contentExperience creating strategies for engagement and traffic on various social media platformsBasic graphic design software such as Canva, Adobe Spark, Photoshop, Lightroom etcSome photography skills necessary for creating video/photo contentResponsive & attend to all form of communicationsExcellent multitasking skillsMust have your own computer with a web camera and access to internet connectionJob Type: Part-timePay: $12.00 – $18.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Associate (Preferred)Experience:Public Relations: 1 year (Preferred)Marketing: 2 years (Required)Social media management: 1 year (Required)Work Location: One location
