about the role
The mandate of the Digital Team Lead is to oversee a team of Sr Functional Analysts and Functional Analysts to deliver a specific functional portfolio within the Digital Solutions Core Foundations team such as HCM/Hiring, Talent/Learning or Vaccine/Compliance/Health & Wealth.
They are responsible for the development of their people, prioritization of work within the portfolio, resolving escalations (or further escalating to leadership). They partner closely with their Sr BA who brings portfolio-specific business analysis + scope from business stakeholders along with recommendations and risks.
a day in the life: what you’ll do
Oversee pillar of the core Foundations team with specialized focus and stakeholders
People manage a team of 4- 6 individual contributors and develop them into their desired careers
Inform prioritization of team sprints and ensure team resources are focusing on top business OKRs
Responsible for considering how their portfolio works as part of the broader Digital P&C ecosystem to ensure improved efficiency/experience overall
Consider the upstream/downstream implications of any decision they’re making
Partner with Sr BA and scrum master to track, measure and assess team velocity and sprint burndown
Accountable for capacity planning for their team and ensuring direct reports are allocated to max 80%
Work closely with all relevant business stakeholders, creating a transparent and trusting partnership
Meet with cross functional stakeholders to understand their road maps and expected future requests of people
systems – provide regular summaries to Sr Manager, Digital Solutions
Provide transparency and clear expectations to partners for all future sprints and expected delivery dates
Report on sprint deliveries and top team metrics to Sr Manager, Digital Solutions
Clearly communicate opportunities and risks to the Sr Manager of Digital Solutions in a timely fashion with
proposed recommendations
Ensure their portfolio is delivered as efficiently as possible while delivering into a simple, scalable and signature future
qualifications
1-2+ years of People Management experience
4+ years demonstrated work experience in core human resources functions
Strong subject matter expertise in one of our People System platforms: Workday, Avature, Docebo or Dayforce
Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
Proven facilitation and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
