Job Description : Essential Responsibilities Tests and modifies electronic hearing aids using Widex software WSP (Widex Service Program) and hardware WSB (Widex Service Program) equipment and hand tools.Scans each serial number into ERP computer systemPrints warranty cards to include with orderPrints all labels for inner packagingConvert technology and levels of hearing aids using Flextool software.Use WSP software for validation check on flex levelPerform housing changes as needed.Perform antennae tuning tests, as needed after modification to specified hearing aids.Build and or install all special options such as battery door, housing options, pediatric options, and inserts.Laser engraving of any special options such as year, name, etc.Inspects hearing aid and paperwork prior to replacing housing requests on conversions and installing special detail options, prior to releasing to shipping.Assembles dummy hearing aids and is able to work with engraving machines and hand drillsAssembles inner packaging material for use on all BTE, BTE with Shell Attached and DEX OrdersReviews pick ticket and ensures that all information requested on pickticket is accurateVerification of serial number written on order matches serial number on pickticketVerification of physical hearing aid color, model and style to that ordered on pickticketAssembly of RIC/RITE earwire to aid and/or to shellInsertion of color code indicators into aids based on left/right identification on orderInsertion/changing of microphone grids, RIC (Passion) upper housings as neededConnects all applicable hearing aids to Widex Service Program and/or FLEXTOOL program to verify technology levels, additional features and programmable options are as orderedPackages hearing aids and DEX’s into presentation boxes and include all necessary materials, including, but not limited to: wax guards, cleaning tools, cleaning cloths, batteries, warranty cards, and pouches.Ensures all proper labeling is visible and neat on presentation boxesEnsures all other parts and accessories placed on order are accompanied with inner pack material to Shipping DepartmentResponsible to come to work consistently on time and as scheduledPerforms other duties and participates in other projects as requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: $16.50 – $18.50 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftWork Location: One location
