Job Description : Walmart on Central Ave. is currently hiring a 2nd shift Stocking/Unloading Team Lead.The required shift is 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm.You will work a 40 hour work week. Seasonal overtime might be required.Weekend availability is required.This position oversees 10-20 associates.This team will unload a truck averaging 2,500 pieces using proprietary equipment. They will sort the freight by department and then pull the freight to the sales floor using manual pallet jacks. This team will also stock high velocity freight to the sales floor and provide customer service during the process. The assigned tasks can vary from day to day based on business demands.What we need from you!- Experience leading teams of up to 20 people at a time.- Experience with freight flow and receiving.- Experience with coaching and team development.- Experience in a retail setting.You should be a passionate team leader who puts the team and customers first and does what is right for both. You focus on developing your associates to further their careers. You take pride in safety and compliance issues and ensure none of your associates or customers are put in a dangerous situation. You take pride in your work and have complete ownership of your shift. You know what is happening at all times and can adapt at a moments notice to changes in business demands. You are reliable and dependable. You are a people person that others gravitate toward.Physical Demands- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Lift and carry more than 50 lbs. with assistance.- Bend, stoop, and reach above shoulder level for extended periods of time.- Stand and walk for a 9 hour shift with a 1- hour lunch included.- Climb ladders, utilize manual pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks.What we offer you!A rewarding career with the world’s largest retailer.
