What you’ll be doing…
The Admin- Payroll will answer incoming calls timely and accurately regarding direct deposit, salary changes, special pay, short term disability, and general payroll time reporting inquiries.
Assist payroll analysts in resolving email inquiries related to payroll inquiries during periods of low call volume.
Accurately update employee call details in the employee payroll support case database.
Manage email and case workflow to ensure all payroll inquiries are completed accurately and timely follow up is provided to the employee.
Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with employees, utilizing appropriate resources to provide first call resolution, and working to establish a positive rapport with every interaction.
Cooperatively interact and support peers in HR, Benefits, and Benefit Vendors to resolve employee questions/issues.
Collaborate with the leadership team to stay updated on payroll knowledge and stay informed of any changes in policies/procedures.
Where you’ll be working:
In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we’re looking for…
This is a hybrid position, requiring the ability to work at home and in the office. You will need a dedicated/secure workspace while working at home. The current in-office work schedule is the 3rd Tuesday of every month, however, flexibility is key as this schedule could change to meet business needs.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
Even better if you have:
Customer service experience handling inbound calls.
Exceptional written communication skills.
Strong quantitative, organizational, and analytical skills.
Results-oriented, proactive, with a strong sense of urgency.
Flexible scheduling to meet processing demands, as required.
Ability to manage large work volumes, show flexibility, adapt easily to change.
Cooperatively interact with peers in Payroll, HR, Benefits, and Benefit vendors to resolve complex payroll issues.
