Guardian Recovery Network is known for the great care they take with clients and employees alike.The Position: The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for screening, answering, and management of inquires by telephone regarding program admissions. The Admissions Coordinator answers patient referrals, gathers information on perspective patients, and has basic financial management responsibility of prospective clients. The Admission Coordinator conducts initial telephone screening of potential patients and referents.Compensation: We’re looking for an experienced Admissions Coordinator. The pay range we’re offering is competitive for the industry and based on experience. We offer medical benefits.Requirements: Sales experience.Must have a flexible work schedule, available to work 40 hours per week, that may include nights and weekends.Ability to work on a team.Familiarity with CRM and EMR systems.Knowledge of health insurance carriers & benefits.Substance abuse issues & treatment experience preferred.General marketing campaign knowledge.Positive demeanor and upbeat personality able to overcome objections in a brand sensitive way.Knowledge of addiction & substance abuse.Ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health.Knowledge of 12-Step recovery programs.Knowledge and competency in problem solving, stress management, ethics and team building.Flexibility to adapt to schedule and work changesResponsibilities: Conducts initial telephone screening of potential patients and referents to ensure that patients meet admission criteria.Orientates the patient to the treatment environment with sensitivity to new-patient concerns, including potential physical and emotional discomfort.Takes phone calls of inquiry and effectively answers questions about the treatment program.Prioritizes patient needs and issues related to patient orientation.Alerts clinical and other staff to any special problems or issues that may affect treatment.Upon initial contact, provides information to patients and families in order to help them decide about treatment, prepare for admission, and what they can expect to encounter.Completes admission process efficiently and accurately, reviewing documents with the patient so he / she is aware of rights and responsibilities and the nature of the various consents and releases that are being signed.Provides patient and family (if applicable) with orientation material that will help them acclimate to the treatment environment and make informed decisions.Provides referrals for those individuals who are not eligible for the program.Represents the program to referral sources, potential patients, and other outside individuals and agencies in a courteous, professional manner that reflects positively on the program and its staffProtect the privacy of all patient information in accordance with the company’s privacy policies, procedures and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with general principle of professionalism as a health care provider.The Location: Delray Beach, Florida. Please note this is for an in-office position only and no remote candidates will be considered.
