Department: Airport Operations
Reports to: Duty Manager
Location: Newark Liberty Airport

Summary:
The Baggage Porter will be responsible for assisting Ticket Counter Agents (and Customers alike) with the transport of checked baggage.
Responsibilities:
Assist Customer Service Agents at the ticket counter with lifting checked baggage on the baggage belt
Deliver oversized baggage to oversized baggage drop off area
Be enthusiastic about offering assistance where needed in all areas of Passenger Services
Adhere to PAHs uniform guidelines and codes of conduct.
Work in a team environment and encouraging team work
Communicates with their direct manager concerning any problems or issues.
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must be at least 18 Year of age.
Previous airline/aviation operational knowledge preferred.
Capable of lifting 70 lbs. comfortably and repetitively for duration of shift
Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time at the baggage counter area.
Must be able to speak, read and write in English proficiently.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must pass random drug test.
Must pass a 10-year background check as required by US Customs.
