Position : Benefits Administrator – Fully remote!
Job Description : Responsibilities:Supports the Company’s Welfare and Pension programs for active employees and retirees.Maintain and update employee records and benefits files.Coordinate daily benefits processing, including enrollments & terminations.Collaborate with payroll and ensure that employer contributions and payroll deductions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.Supports Defined Benefit Pension Plans by providing participant estimates, final retirement paperwork and counseling to transition them to retirement and pay status. Review of forms, entry and reconciliation of monthly pension Trust for monthly activity.Administers Retiree Medical & Life Plans and programs. Provides guidance and enrollment information to eligible retirees, ensures enrollment at vendors and tracks for lifecycle changes. Coordinate deduction of necessary premiums from eligible pension recipients.Maintain and create records, reports, and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and provider regulations.Participates/assists in yearly external audits by complying employee data and presenting data in a clear concise manner to auditors. Participates in annual compliance testing and data collection for required reporting.Qualifications:2-5 years of experience as a benefits administrator or in a similar role.Working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.Strong MS Excel skills.Strong analytical capabilities.Job Type: Full-timePay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Benefits & Compensation Occupations: 2 years (Required)Work Location: One location
