Position : BOSS Project Manager
Job Description : PacArctic is hiring a full time Project Manager to support PAC and our government customer in the Kodiak, Alaska.

The project manager will have the authority to act on behalf of KGS on all matters related to the performance of this contract. The project manager shall conduct overall management coordination and shall be the central point of contact with the Government for performance of all work under this contract. The PM shall ensure that a specified person or an individual designated to act on his or her behalf is physically present on site during normal working hours. The PM shall be available to meet with Government personnel designated by the KO at the base within thirty (30) minutes during normal working hours and within one (1) hour at all other times.
The Contractor shall provide after-hours contact information for the project manager, or an individual designated to act on his or her behalf. The project manager, and any individuals so designated, shall have full authority to act on the behalf of the Contractor for prompt action on matters pertaining to the contract.
This specified person shall have the authority to negotiate and sign for the Contractor on modifications and Level III WOs up to $150,000 and to delegate this authority to Contractor personnel responsible for preparation of Level III job cost proposals and Level II to III Service Work proposals.
The project manager shall possess at least six years managerial experience on similar contracts and Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Recent experience (performed within the last three years) is preferable
Working Environment & Conditions
This position is primarily outdoors and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; bend, stoop, climb; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to stand or sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs independently and lift and/or move up to 75 lbs with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
