ROLE SUMMARY :
If you are interested in a hands-on, continuous improvement oriented, fast-paced role in a world class manufacturing environment then our Production Area Manager (BPM) role is for you. In this role you will own the budget and performance of a packaging line in our operations department. Attending production meetings, creating and executing action plans to meet critical metrics, troubleshooting equipment concerns on the fly, developing relationships with technicians, influencing change, and growing technically and as a leader are all elements of this great opportunity.
JOB R ESPONSIBILITIES :
Develop, monitor, and maintain critical control points to ensure excellent process and product quality.
Lead process improvement and initiate change.
Supervise production workforce (Operators and Maintenance Technicians).
Coach workforce through problem solving and monitoring of operating processes and equipment.
Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are being followed.
Utilize VPO tools to achieve critical metric targets and close gaps in performance (root cause analysis, GAP analysis, MCRS meeting schedules and action logs, SDCA cycles, etc.).
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related subject area.
Leadership skills, comfort level with change, and the ability to lead change.
Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.
Technical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to extract, evaluate, and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to relocate within the U.S.
