Position : Clerical Assistant – Temporary, Part Time, Spring 2022

Job Description : Saint Peter’s is looking for an adaptive, customer service focused Clerical Assistant to join their team!
This is a temporary role, with possible permanent placement. This role is for the Spring 2022. Schedule: 20 hours a week: two 8-hour shifts, and one 4-hour shift.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting and receiving visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Screening a high volume of phone calls and directing them appropriately.
Providing information to inquiries concerning general department activities and operation in accordance with department procedures.
Maintaining department record keeping and assisting with documentation.
Handling confidential data in accordance with department and Hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior medical office experience.
Superior interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with a diverse group of internal callers, patients and visitors
Grade 110
