Job Description : Tubacex America is a wholly owned subsidiary of TUBACEX GROUP, one of the leading producers of seamless stainless steel tubing products in the world. This offers the benefits of a well respected international corporation with sales offices throughout the world, as well as an integrated source for materials from start to finish. Operating in a 185,000 square foot facility in Greenville, PA and our 100,000 square foot facility in Durant, OK, Tubacex America utilizes weld mills and cold draw benches to produce stainless steel and nickel alloy tubing from 1/8” to 2” od in over twenty five different alloys that meet the highest quality standards. Due to growth in our organization, Tubacex America is currently looking to hire a Customer Service Representative. This position is located in Houston, TX.Supports customers by providing information, answering questions, and responding to queries for information and/or documentation, order status, and general information. They’re the front line of support for clients as well as the commercial sales organization. They are key contributors in the processing and/or modification of orders. Interfacing with Tubacex Mills, third party vendors and other internal functional teams in providing support across various communication channels.Job description and Responsibilities: · Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers, ensuring total customer satisfaction· Order and related documentation management, including order expediting· Engage customers and vendors to provide basic support on product inquiries and service· Processing claims and, providing updates to customers during the claims process· Reports and provides key updates regarding customer orders status· Prepares reports, both periodic and ad-hoc, by collecting info from various sources (internal and external), analyzing it and proposing actions· Database maintenance (assuring information is correct and updated)· Manages the customer service inbox and responds to customers quickly and effectively· Communicates and builds relationships internally with the Tubacex mills globally and third parties (various time zones and cultures), to ensure timely execution and clear communications· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed· Answering incoming phone calls, asking appropriate questions to determine who calls should be routed to· Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure material attached to orders is turnaround quickly and shipped back out to customers· Maintains files in line with procedures· Answers inquiries from customers, internal teams in a timely manner, leaving no question or issue unresolved· Communicating and coordinating cross-organizationally to ensure a proper sense of urgency and attention to details· Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service processQualifications / Skills / Experience: Order Management/Customer serviceStrong analytical skills (proficient with numbers)Detail orientedSense of urgencyOrganized and effective multi-taskerAnalyzing information and driven to solve problemsDocumentation skillsCommunication and learning skills (written and verbal)Resolving conflictWillingness to travel locally and regionally 25% of the time, to perform outside sales activates.
