We have an exciting new opportunity for a Customer Service Specialist in our Sales Department.
We’re a small team of casual people who love aviation, outdoor activities and mostly Alaska! It’s definitely not a call-center environment. You’re not on a stopwatch when the phone rings and it isn’t a sales gig. You’ll recommend products, route calls, assist with ordering, order status and so much more!
This will be an evolving position. You will be flexible and available to work at our Palmer and Anchorage location for training as needed. After training the position will be based at our Palmer facility. You will train as a retail customer faced sales associate learning our products, procedures and key contacts. You will assist the Sales Director in developing call center procedures and telephone scripts based on what you learn during training.
In the customer service specialist position you will:
Be responsible for providing professional and cheerful service to all customers.
Answer, evaluate and prioritize incoming telephone calls providing general and detailed explanations/information in clear, easy to understand language to customers. You will also transfer calls to the appropriate department, if applicable.
Serve as back up for the sales floor.
Additional duties as defined.
