Position : Day Program Manager- Rochelle Park
Job Description : New Concepts for Living is a community based non-profit organization committed to people with developmental disabilities and their families. We are currently growing and looking to hire RNs in our Rochelle Park office, who will also assist in the 13 group homes, located in Bergen CountyESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following but are not limited to:Provide oversight for day program including supervision, recruitment, orientation, and training needs are properly addressed, with all program staff.Plan, develop, evaluate, schedule, and provide training, for the staff to ensure proper program coverage and all participant’s needs are met. Support and sustain positive morale of the staff.Coordinate, plan and conduct staff meetings, ensure that problems encountered by staff are resolved to ensure smooth operation of the program.Assist in the observations of classrooms, evaluate activities, and collaborate with Director to develop action plans.Develop and monitor creative and interesting community centered opportunities for program participants.Ensure Individual Habilitation Plans are properly developed, implemented, and monitored to meet each individual’s needs.Ensure the day program maintains compliance with all NCFL policies and procedures and meets all DDD requirements.Prepare and maintain administrative and business reports and records of the achievement center; record all fee for service activities and take necessary follow-up action when required.Monitor the staff documentation and the proper coding for services provided to the clients regarding fee for service to ensure correct billing.QUALIFICATIONS: Strong leadership, oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, professionalism, problem solving skills, computer skills, collaboration, flexibility, and time management.High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 2- year experience working with I/DD population in a managerial capacity.Valid driver’s licenseJob Type: Full-timePay: Up to $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
