The Mariners’ Museum and Park is actively hiring an Executive Assistant to join our Team and support the President and CEO. The Executive Assistant will also provide support to The Mariners’ Board of Trustees, and, when needed, to select members of The Mariners’ Leadership Team. The person who will succeed in this role will be able to:

The Executive Assistant will be a full partner on our Team.
The Executive Assistant will be responsible for a number of tasks, including:
Building and maintaining strong professional relationships across our Team and with outside partners and stakeholders,
Supporting the President and CEO with a high level of communication and coordination across our Team and with outside partners and stakeholders,
Receiving visitors and major donors,
Managing frequently changing calendars and schedules,
Assisting with correspondence,
Arranging travel,
Handling phone calls,
Overseeing certain aspects of the administrative budget, and
Managing the logistics of Board meetings and activities.
. Requirements:

The Mariners’ Museum and Park is an exciting and rewarding place to work with a lot going on, and we all pitch in for events or projects that need it. The Executive Assistant should be willing and enthusiastic about pitching in, too!
5 years related experience is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools.
Proactive problem solver with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Should be well-organized, have great time management skills and ability to multitask.
Must be able to maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion.
Must be able to work non-traditional hours to include some evenings and weekends.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
