Job Description : The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer. The executive assistant reports directly to the CEO and provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the board of directors and senior management teams; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects.The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a diversity of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCEA Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.5+ years of related experience required in working in an executive assistant role supporting C-Level executives.Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Complete a wide variety of administrative tasks for the Chief Executive Officer, including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; ensuring the schedule is organized efficiently, prioritizing and most important items, and resolving conflicts in advance;Composing and preparing correspondence and presentations noting and respecting confidentiality;Arranging detailed travel, itineraries, and agendas;Researching, prioritizing, and following up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature; determining appropriate course of action, referral, or response;Work closely with the CEO to proactively keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately;Effectively manage a variety of special projects for the CEO, some of which may have an organizational impact;Successfully complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting correspondence and other tasks that facilitate the CEO’s ability to direct the company effectively;Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow through on projects to successful completion;Maintain discretion and confidentiality in relationships with internal and external clients.Dealing with calls and correspondence on behalf of the Chief Executive and ensuring they are kept up to dateResponsible for submitting expenses and processing invoicesPerform other duties, assignments, and special projects as assigned.COMPETENCY SKILLS:Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, and external partnersAbility to research and present data in a succinct and well-written mannerAbility to work independently and with professional discretionExcellent writing, editing, grammatical, organizational, and research skillsStrong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workExcellent time management skillsExcellent judgment is essentialJob Type: Full-timePay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Support to C-Suite: 5 years (Required)Work Location: One location
