We are in Central Ohio at (KAKR) Akron Fulton Airport, Akron, Ohio.Open Positions for CFIs, CFIIs, MEIs, and Part 135 Charter.Economical Local housing and public transportation availableAmerican Winds College of Aeronautics is an ACCET accredited college specializing exclusively in preparing individuals for a career in aviation, both as a pilot and or Airport Management.KAKR is currently used for general aviation. Akron Fulton Airport is an ideal location for flight training with a 6336 x 150-foot runway, Company owned fuel service, ASOS information, excellent navigational VFR landmarks for student pilots, Class C (Akron Canton) and Class B (Cleveland Hopkins) airports for advanced students training. American Winds owns and maintains an expanding fixed wing aircraft fleet with updated engines and avionics.
