Job Description : Job SummaryThe Health Information Technician is responsible for all Request of Information (ROI) and Personal Health Information (PHI) requests and documentation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Sort documents, verify patient identification, and organize all incoming documents for scanning into patient medical records· Maintain, file, search and organize existing paper and electronic medical records according to the WAC Codes· With high accuracy and attention to detail, assign document types and complete within the allotment of applicable time· Work cooperatively and professionally with staff and outside facilities and/or resources· Accurately complete current data entry including, but not limited to, diagnostic results, consults, and other documents identified for data entry within the established time frame· Participate in activities to deliver quality patient care in times of unconventional continuity of operations· Familiar with using electronic health record (Ex.
