Position : Inventory Control Specialist
Job Description : Innovative-IDM, located in Lewisville, TX, is looking for a Inventory Control Specialist to join our team.This position will help develop and maintain local processes and procedures that ensure ongoing integrity of the inventory control system. Works under the supervision of the Inventory Control Manager and performs administrative duties as requested.Responsibilities: Interacts with vendors, customer service, and sales reps.Ensure inventory accuracy through the completion of effective inventory control.Assist in the development of localized policies and procedures as related to control of production inventory.Work with operations personnel to ensure a clear understanding of the importance of inventory accuracy.Assist Inventory Control Manager with cycle counts and participate in or coordinate yearly physical inventories.Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to, copying, faxing, mailing, filing, answering phones, generating spreadsheets, and creating presentations.Performs other duties and project as assigned.Position Requirements: Experience working with ERP systems.PC skills, with strong Microsoft Excel experience required.Possesses a guest service mentality; has a genuine desire to serve the customer.Good verbal and written communication skills.Fast learning skills and able to follow instructions.Well organized and detail oriented.Forms strong working relationships with team.Must be a self-starter, results oriented, problem-solver, who takes on responsibility for continuous improvement.Basic math skills.Be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbsJob Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Inventory control: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
