WithHealth’s employees and medical providers care deeply about enabling a healthier lifestyle for colleagues, communities and each individual WithHealth patient.Under the general direction of the Director of Lab Operations, or their designee, the Lab Assistant is a key member facilitating a smooth and efficient operation in the lab.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES(May include but are not limited to)Order, receive and inventory lab supplies at the guidance of the Patient Experience Manager, Lab Director, or designee.Properly handle specimen receipt from on-site swab collection sitesOrder, accession and label specimensOrchestrate in vitro diagnostic tests with AcculaTM DocksMaintain the strictest confidentiality of all company records, including verbal and written records.Assist in the daily operations of the Lab and OfficeAssist other personnel in the performance of their duties as assigned and as workload permits.Friendly, detail-oriented individual who enjoys helping others and providing a positively memorable workplace experience. Requirements: EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIESBackground in laboratory experiencesUnderstanding of electronic medical records systemsValid Driver’s LicenseExcellent communication skills and professionalismStrong attention to detailAbility to troubleshoot technology (laptops, tablets, printers, etc.) Essential Physical Functions:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
