Job Description : NOW HIRING SEASONAL STAFF – the typical season is April 1 – November 1Want to spend your summer outside instead of working in food or retail?We have the IDEAL SEASONAL JOB! We are looking for full-time Landscape Maintenance Gardeners to join our team. As a Maintenance Gardener, you are the type of a person who wants to work outdoors and work with your hands. You enjoy working independently as well as part of a team.Essential Job Functions: Pulling weeds, raking leaves, sweeping sidewalks, and cleaning debris, mowing, pruning, weeding, planting and fertilizing, clear ditches, digs holes, water vegetation, apply chemicals such as fertilizer or weed killer by using spray tanks or belly grinders, and performs handwork as necessary using a pick, shovel, or other hand toolsOperates landscape equipment; standard mower, riding mower, leaf blower, weed eater, stick edger, and hedge trimmerRecognizes areas for improvement in the landscape and communicates this to the Crew LeaderMaintains tools and equipment to ensure safetyQualifications: 18 years of age or olderWE WILL TRAIN YOU IF YOU HAVE:Positive attitudeThe ability and willingness to work well with othersThe ability to follow instructions and enjoy working hard in an action-oriented positionA willingness to work outdoors in all types of weatherA desire to excel, be punctual and helpfulAn interest in learning new skills and growing with our company18 years of age or olderWe are accepting candidates with or without driver’s licenses, but you do need to be able to get to the job sitesAbout Caretaker Landscape: In addition to our competitive compensation and benefits, we offer stability.
