Headquartered in Birmingham, AL, our field operations are located throughout the Appalachian Basin in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. In 2021, Diversified announced our expansion into our Central Regional Focus Area, which includes producing areas within Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. DGOC’s parent company is Diversified Energy Company PLC.POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Lease Operator reports to the Production Foreman. The primary purpose for this position is to maintain optimum production from assigned wells, performing required repairs and maintenance and recording meter/gauge readings on a regular basis.Special focus will be placed on: Maintains the production rate throughout the systemPerforms daily operational checks of assigned wells and production facilities.Ensures that safety devices are operationalTests wells to determine production rates and problems.Monitors equipment repairs.Performs housekeeping and basic maintenance of well site duties.Operates and maintains central production treatment/storage/compression facilities, and the operation and maintenance of water injection pumps, related equipment, and various utility support systems including oilfield boilers, centrifugal de-sanders and chemical injection equipment.POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience1 – 4 years of related oil and gas production experience.General knowledge of well operations, including general maintenance practicesAbility to operate independently and manage timeAbility to use basic hand and power tools, as well as lawn equipmentMust possess valid driver’s licensePhysical Demands/Work EnvironmentAbility to lift 25 lbs.Manual dexterity to operate specialized equipmentField work environment- requires working in a variety of different weather conditionBENEFITS: DGOC offers a competitive compensation plan and a comprehensive benefits program.
