Job Description : The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Director of Marketing to execute and support the company’s marketing initiatives and strategic advertising goals. The Marketing Coordinator will participate in daily marketing activities including, but are not limited to collecting, producing, and maintaining digital and traditional media assets while supporting process improvement.Essential Job Functions: Manage, upload, and update online product content on bigrays.com.With direction from the Director of Marketing, responsible for developing content, creating posts, stories, events, and necessary messaging via Big Ray’s social media channels.Responsible for responding to reviews, inquiries, messages, and mentions on all digital platforms.Utilize and create email templates to deploy email campaigns and manage automation workflow.Maintain and update customer contact lists within internal databases.Coordinate with the Marketing Assistant to select and appropriately adapt images for the website, social media, and other digital purposes.Create landing pages, on bigrays.com, based on scheduled marketing promotions while maintaining hyperlinks and connectivity to appropriate feature pages and assets.Coordinate product giveaways and provide support in the planning and execution of events.Develop marketing kits that will be issued to each store location along with communication and instructions for use to store managers prior to legacy sales.Job Qualifications: The following are required: Strong verbal and written communication skillsExceptional organizational skillsAbility to think creatively and able to provide innovative ideasProficiency in the use of computers and in Microsoft Office SuiteAdobe Creative Suite proficiency is preferredHigh school diploma or GED requiredIndependent decision-making expectedThe following is preferred: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud SuiteNon-Essential Job Functions: Drive motor vehicle as neededAssist as needed with various store operationsTravel when warrantedPerform administrative tasks to include answering the telephone, maintaining file records, and various forms of correspondence.Other duties as assignedSupervision Received and Exercised: This position works under the direction and supervision of the Marketing Director; no supervision exercised.Work Environment: This position is performed in a dynamic, small business setting with the offices located on the second floor of a retail store. The employee will occasionally be on the retail floor among clothing and related fixtures or in the warehouse among boxes of clothing and financial records. Some evenings and weekends may be required.Physical and Mental Demands: The physical demands of this position require frequent standing, walking, sitting, speaking, and hearing. Requires near vision to write and read printed materials and computer screens. Requires hearing and speaking to exchange information on the telephone or in person. The employee is regularly required to reach with his/her hands and arms and lift items weighing up to 40 lbs. Must be able to use carts, ladders, dollies, and stools to assist in moving or shelving items. Requires sufficient arm, hand, finger dexterity to operate a keyboard and other office equipment. Repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers may also be required. Requires the ability to operate a vehicle safely. Requires the ability to climb a flight of stairs.
