This recruitment will establish an Office Assistant I/II City-wide eligibility list for future full-time, part-time and limited-term vacancies in this classification that may occur over the next 12-month period.*Salary Ranges*Office Assistant I-$44,217.79 annually/$22.68/hourly to $53,746.79 annually/$27.56 hourlyOffice Assistant II -$49,569.57 annually/$25.42 hourly to $60,251.87 annually/$30.90 hourlyUnder general supervision the Office Assistant provides a variety of routine to complex clerical support to various City offices, which may include receptionist duties, typing, word processing, data entry, record keeping and filing.For a complete job description, please click here.ABOUT YOUThe ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills in order to serve the public both in person and on the phone, as well as strong oral and written communication skills, including:Equivalent to high school diploma; andOne year of general office experience, including typing, computer usage and public contact.
