Job Overview::

The Patient Experience Manager will provide leadership and subject matter expertise aligned to all initiatives, policies, programs, and education related to the Patient Experience programs for SEARHC (SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium). This position will ensure effective business operations of the Patient Experience programs and is responsible for special projects, improving and monitoring the processes related to these programs under the leadership of the Director of Patient Experience. The Patient Experience Manager is a key liaison with both internal and external collaborators and partners.
Responsibilities::
Provide leadership and administrative support for the Patient Experience programs for the consortium.
Evaluate performance of the programs through measurement of agreed upon goals and targets.
Responsible for developing and implementing consortium wide surveys, gathering data, performing analysis to measure and report trends.
Troubleshoot and recommend solutions to complex or unusual inquiries, problems, and issues.
Serve as a liaison between SEARHC departmental groups and outside providers for issues related to program(s).
Responsible for establishing and implementing regular customer service training for SEARHC staff.
Responsible to foster healthy partnerships to ensure success of Patient Experience programs.
Recommends, evaluates, and participates in staff development related to goals and objectives of the Program(s).
Responsible to ensure that all policies, processes, and procedures are in alignment with the strategic goals of the organization.
Focuses on providing excellent customer service in all aspects of contact with providers, recipients, and clients.
This position may be responsible for supervising, training, oversight and supporting assigned staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications::

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in healthcare, business, or related field
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in related business environment which should include experience in patient experience, referral care management or coordination, resource utilization, supervision, fiscal management, and work with business processes related to the delivery of and payment for healthcare services.
License and Certifications
None
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of:
A solid understanding of the Alaska Native culture(s) and tribal-related politics.
Knowledge of state, federal, and tribal health care programs, including public/private insurance, such as Medicaid and/or Medicare.
Skills in:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office related products.
Proficiency in data analysis and measuring trends.
Strong in both written and verbal communications, including the ability to convey technical information.
Ability to:
Highly organized self-starter who can effectively prioritize competing demands.
Effectively collaborates with various departments to accomplish departmental objectives.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with others in varying levels of responsibility within the consortium.
Work under pressure with minimal supervision and short timelines and rapidly respond with professional and timely deliverables.
