Job Description : Hospital Cooperative Laundry, an essential company, is looking for a Payroll Assistant to work from our Denver plant. SUMMARYThe Payroll Assistant will support Denver’s Payroll Manager with various tasks which includes: daily time sheet reports and entries from HCL supervisors, tracking of HCL employees vacation and sick time accruals, VOE and paychecks distributions.JOB REQUIREMENTSProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, outlook).Accuracy and attention to detail are a critical qualification, confidentially imperative.Effective oral and written communication skills.Minimum 2 years working in a payroll position.Bilingual – Spanish – a plus.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSMust be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.Must have basic knowledge and understanding of HRIS Systems. Paycom experience a plus.PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this job.Must be able to lift weights up to 50 pounds at times.Must be able to sit/stand entire shift (8 hours shifts).Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.HCL offer benefits including medical, dental, vision and supplemental insurance starting 1st of the month after 60 days. Vacation 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years.
