Job Description : Service Center Metals is a state-of-the-art aluminum twenty-four-hour extrusion and billet facility located in Prince George, VA. We are expanding and currently hiring a Production Associate.Benefits of joining the SCM Team: · Highly Competitive Pay: Average annual pay is between 50k – 60k· $1000 Sign on bonus!· Weekly Production and quarterly bonuses· Vacation & Sick Pay·401K with 5% match·Health Savings Plan with company match·Life Insurance·Gym Membership discount·Overtime opportunities·Employee Assistance Program·Advancement opportunities·Medical, Dental and Vision InsuranceCandidate requirements: · Be dependable and accountable to work with team members· Work a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts/3 to 5 days-per-week, alternating every other weekend including overtime· Lift 75 pounds or more on a regular basis· Work effectively in hot and cold temperatures for long periods of time· Have good math skills· High School Graduate or GEDJob Duties: · Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean orderly work areas.· As product exits the finished saw, lift extrusion onto packing jigs and assemble standard size bundles. Apply product protection, battens and banding to secure the product in uniform high quality bundles.· Identify non-conforming material and sorts.
