Position : Secretary to the County Administrator
Job Description : The LocationGeneseo, NY at the Livingston County Government Center. Specifically, the positionis located in the Administration suite with the County Administrator andAdministrative Staff, Purchasing, Grants and Public Information Coordinator, CountyAttorney and Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.The PositionThis is a key administrative support role in a leading edge, best-in-class localgovernment in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Public service motivation iskey. The successful applicant will be able to provide excellent customer service in afast paced environment and establish and maintain effective working relationshipswith co-workers, supervisors, and customers.This position acts as the conduit through which the public interacts with CountyAdministration. They are also responsible for preparing reports, creatingpresentations, drafting memos, scheduling appointments, entering payrollinformation, conducting general office duties, and performing other related projectsand tasks.To be successful in this role, candidates should be well-organized, have great time management skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and have a good comfort level with technology including MS Office.Salary & BenefitsExcellent benefit package includes New York State retirement (pension), healthinsurance, and paid time off. The work week is 8-4 PM, M-F and the 2022 budgetedsalary is $28 per hour.
