Job Description : The Sarasota Film Festival, one of the world’s premiere film events, now celebrating its 24th year, is looking for a great Social Media Coordinator to help in the execution of our social media outreach. Our main event runs from April 1 – 10, 2022.Looking for someone with experience managing social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Would love it if you have some marketing, graphic design, (photoshop, canva) and photography skills. We host a lot of fun events with celebrities so you’ll be sure to have good material. If you know how to take interesting videos and edit – that’s also great!General Requirements:Must be at least 18 years-oldPlease have some flexibility in your schedule — the job would take about 20 hours a week in March but would require closer to full-time hours during the festival (April 1-10).Social media skills are of utmost importancevery Mac & PC literateVerbal, phone and top written skills essentialExperience with Microsoft Word & Excel requiredExperience with Google Email and Google Docs/Sheets preferredAssists in creating marketing materials including flyers, posters and other ancillariesReliable transportation to and from the office and external festival eventsJob Types: Part-time, Contract, TemporaryPay: From $20.00 per hourCOVID-19 considerations:Any future public events will adhere to all the CDC recommendations as well as local health regulations.
