Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to coordinate the National Deaf Center’s overall social media presence.

Job Details:
Responsibilities

Coordinate between NDC staff, content developers, NDC webmaster, and external consultants.

Make content updates to social media/digital platforms that align with other communications.

Support with email marketing, including monthly email newsletters and special marketing emails, in coordination with other organizational emails.

Oversee social media posts and social listening.

Oversee project workflow to meet deadlines.

Manage, develop, and curate digital and marketing assets.

Support with execution of live events.

Generate social media analytics and make recommendations for improvements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, digital marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field; or equivalent experience. Three or more years of experience working in marketing and communications. Demonstrated experience with project management. Able to multitask and prioritize assignments. Flexibility and ability to work in a fully team-centered environment. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written communication skills. Professional demeanor. Beginner proficiency in American Sign Language or willingness to learn.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Five or more years of experience working in marketing and communications. Experience working in higher education or nonprofit settings. Demonstrated graphic design expertise. Intermediate or greater proficiency with American Sign Language.

Salary Range

$50,000 – $58,000
