Lead sourcing activities of moderate complexity: – Define commodity and supplier strategies – Adopt best-practice commodity management and strategic sourcing processes – Track category performance relative to targets, and conduct supplier reviews for assigned suppliers – Communicate clearly with procurement leadership, business stakeholders and team about strategies, contracts, and project updates. – Provide coaching to junior staff, as needed Provide support for highly complex or stategic initiatives; assigned tasks may include: – Analyze supply market and current supply base – Build business case – Build RFx and auction – Negotiate contract provisions – Track and report category performance against targets – On-board suppliers – Conduct supplier performance reviews – Monitor contract execution – Forecast demand – Identify and recommend future sourcing opportunities.Energy and/or network sourcing experience is required.Intake Information:Target hire date: By 3/1 as this is replacing an existing NTWNo approved spend.Must haves: Experience in a technology sourcing/ Energy Sourcing or similar role.Skillset Matrix Manager NotesTechnology Requirements (I.E Programs, systems, etc) Tools, like Ariba, Docusign, Salesforce is a plusWhat does a typical day look like? (daily tasks) * Competitively sourcing technology spend through rfp, rfi and rfqs,Drafting, negotiating and executing contractual documents including but not limited to master service agreements, statements of work, letter agreements, and purchase ordersSupplier management – supporting the evolution of supplier management through supplier scorecard development and supplier quarterly businessEnergy savings, Energy efficiency etcPreferred background/prior work experience? * Experience in a technology sourcing/ Energy Sourcing or similar role.Bachelors or Masters with at least 3 to 5 yrs experiencePriority soft skills Good Attitude, flexible, quick learner, communications, etcWill support all energy initiatives.Candidates must be onsite at Frisco location and meet onsite requirements.TMO to provide equipment.Possibility for extension if budget allows.Additional Requirements:This is a high visibility and urgent REQ.
