Basic Purpose
To assist the department leadership team in analyzing and evaluating the activities of the department/division, to coordinate actions that cross division lines and to provide administrative support.

Responsibilities:

Collect, prepare and maintain data for analysis, reports and referenceCoordinate and prepare agendas for meetings, events and presentationsCoordinate travel arrangements, prepare authorizations and review expense reportsMonitor, field and direct phone calls; document as requiredOrder supplies/services and reconcile invoicesPartner with leadership to coordinate, execute and maintain programs and initiativesPrepare and submit budget requirements for Annual Financial Plan (AFP)Proofread and edit content for standardization to ensure clarity and accuracyRemain abreast of corporate business plans and marketing effortsRepresent the department/division/branch in disaster recovery plansResearch and evaluate operational issues, inquiries and/or complaintsReview internal studies and surveys to provide summaries to leadershipContribute to a culture of collaboration by actively working across business lines, communicating knowledge and business processes to other business unitsPlan, develop, implement and maintain new and existing programs, campaigns and special offersRecommend and implement technical/electronic enhancements to improve administrative operationsIdentify areas of improvement; determine solutions; implement enhancements/changes to improve operations, standards and resultsPerform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrityAbility to work independently and in a team environmentExperience in independently managing or administering a function or projectExtensive experience in performing clerical or administrative duties/responsibilitiesAdvanced knowledge of expense tracking, budget preparation and administrationAdvanced database and presentation software skillsAdvanced organizational, planning and time management skillsAdvanced research, analytical, and problem solving skillsAdvanced skill communicating with all levels within an organizationAdvanced skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisionsAdvanced skill interacting with staff, management, vendors and members diplomatically and tactfullyAdvanced skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and conciselyAdvanced verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced word processing and spreadsheet software skillsExpert administrative support skills, methods and procedures

Desired Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or in a related fieldWorking knowledge of Navy Federal products, services, programs, policies and procedures

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (Flexible)

Location: 820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA 22180

Due to COVID-19 and social distancing, this position will be temporarily working from home with plans to return to campus at the desired location listed once Navy Federal is back to normal operations. The specific logistics for returning to campus will be determined at a future date by individual leadership.

Salary: Navy Federal Credit Union assesses market data to establish salary ranges that enable us to remain
competitive. You are paid within the salary range, based on your experience, location and market position.

The salary range for this position is: $28.50 to $35.50 Hourly Rate
