Job Description : STEWARD/HOUSEKEEPING POSITION: JUPITERA high-profile family is seeking to fill a position for the family estate in Jupiter, Fla.Candidate should be local to the Jupiter/WPB area.The primary responsibilities are to provide high end dinner service in the evening and perform detailed housekeeping as well. · Candidate must have experience with high end guest services that includes, setting a beautiful table, experience in bartending to mix a variety of cocktails, and serving the family meals.· Meticulous cleaning skills will be required· Travel with the family may be required· Candidate must be a team player and take direction well.· High end organization skills are a must· Candidate will report to the Estate ManagerDetails· Hours: Monday-Friday: 12-8pm· Salary: $70,000 Annually· Health: $300/month for health insurance.· 3 sick days paid· Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July and Easter are paid days off· 2 weeks paid vacation; the Estate Manager will approve· Periodic reviews will take place with the Estate ManagerSteward/ServiceAreas of responsibility include but are not limited to the following:· Support the current butler with dinner service and clean- up of the kitchen, dining and living room· Experience in setting a beautiful table; able to mix and properly serve drinks to the principals and guests. Properly serve the meals prepared by the chef and monitor the clearing of the table when meal service is completed.· Thorough cleaning and nightly shut down of kitchen and dining areas before shift ends every night.· High-end turn down service in the master bedroom and when in use, the guest rooms.· Responsible to follow the “close up” procedure every evening before departure· May be asked to help minimally with animals on certain shifts (letting them outside, or giving them food, and medicine)HousekeepingAreas of responsibility include but not limited to the following:· Primarily keeping the master suite closet, continually organized, neat and orderly. On par with a California Closet look and feel.· Responsible for first floor of the home: includes powder rooms, kitchen and living spaces, diningroom, 1st Floor hallways and laundry room, understairs cubby, Cabana bath, Staff office· Club Room (Tuesday, Wednesday only)· Tuesday and Wednesday (or any time butler is absent):· Responsible for complete dinner service as mentioned above.Once a week tasks· Downstairs Guest Room, to be cleaned or when in use.· Garage Guest House to be cleaned on Thursday’s· Trophy Room· Silver polishing (as needed)Responsibilities when the family is out of town· Housekeeping staff focuses on projects, deep cleaning, and annual maintenance when the family goes out of town for one week or more.· Daily responsibilities may shift to accommodate these larger projectJob Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Jupiter, FL 33478: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Dishwashers & Stewards: 4 years (Required)Bartending: 3 years (Required)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Required)Work Location: One location
