Job Description : Job DescriptionImmediate Full-Time and Part-Time Positions AvailableEstablished in 2006, Alewerks is a proud, locally owned and operated craft brewery in Williamsburg, VA. We are looking for passionate, energetic beer lovers to share their personalities & beer knowledge. Our Taproom team seeks to provide a singular guest experience via expertly crafted beers, special events, enthusiasm, and superbly attentive service. Like all of our taproom staff, this position will work shifts at both of our Williamsburg Taprooms and includes front and back of the house duties. If you consider yourself a fan of craft beer and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we would love to hear from you.Requirements: Passion for craft beer, community, and locally supported businessCraft beer knowledge preferred21 or over and available to work weekends, nights and holidays as necessaryMinimum 1 year service industry preferredMust be able to work standing for 8 continuous hoursMust be able to pick up minimum 35 lbsCicerone Certified Beer Server, and Food Handlers cards or ability to obtain once hiredDuties Include: Educating guests about craft beer and Alewerks history with a smileOpening and closing facility to a high standard of cleanlinessPreparing and serving fresh menu itemsStocking merchandise itemsReceiving, processing and fulfilling online ordersTo apply, please send a cover letter stating why you make the ideal candidate for this position along with your resume.
