Job Description : Our office is located in Thomasville, GA but we service patients in the following counties: Brooks, Colquitt, Decatur, Grady, Mitchell, Thomas, and Worth.The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating and managing all volunteer program activities for Bethany Hospice. The VC conducts recruitment, retention and assignment of volunteers. The VC represents the volunteers and matches volunteers with patients and families. The VC spends approximately 50-75% of the time in the field calling on community-based groups where prospective volunteers may be located. The VC also conducts volunteers training programs on a regular basis and is responsible for all applicable volunteer compliance with Medicare requirements. Manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with the Company’s budget.
