Job Description : ESSENTIAL DUTIESManages receiving, warehousing, and inventories at local and external warehouse locationsManages shipping services; supervises local warehouse staffMaintains receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures in accordance with cGMPs, SOPs, and good warehousing practicesEnsures warehouse safety and housekeeping procedurally and physicallyMaintains inventory system, and ensure accuracy by conducting physical and cycle counts and reconciling at all warehouse locationsMaintains physical condition of local warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; identifying needs for repair and requisitions for replacementGENERAL DESCRIPTIONCompletes daily warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work resultsCoordinates with the Purchasing department with regards to incoming deliveries of raw materials and supplies.Responsible for receiving materials at local and external warehouse locationsCoordinates with Planning/Logistics regarding transfers to third-party locations and the shipping PlansMaintains local warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and training employees; enhance warehouse staff by training employeesMaintains and develops KPIs in accordance with Supply Chain strategiesComplies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actionsMaintains professional and technical knowledge by external interactions and reviewing professional publications“Other duties as assigned”WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREDThree to five years of high-level warehouse management experience, ideally in a related field with a GMP environment.Working knowledge of cGMP, DEA and FDA requirements; general knowledge of scheduling process.Extensive knowledge of warehouse monitoring systemsAbility to operate various Warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, etc.Able to effectively communicate in English with workers, supervisors and other departments.Bilingual, English and Spanish, preferredKnowledge of Excel and Word.Must have excellent administrative and organizational skills and be detailed-oriented.Ability to analyze situations and react in a timely manner; able to work well under pressure and adhere to deadlines.Excellent analytical and observation skills.Good knowledge of basic mathematical skills, including measurement.Able to maintain a flexible work schedule.Able to multi-task.Able to follow routine verbal and/or written instructions.Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftOn callWeekend availabilityWork Location: One location
