Job Description : Whole Loan Trader – Vitreous Loan GroupAbout Vitreous Loan Group:VLG was created out of industry demand for transparent, effective and efficient loan sales between financial institutions. The founders of the company were asked by longstanding clients to open an entity whereby they could work directly with the decision-makers, and not have to sift through layers of bureaucracy to effect a trade.What we do:Credit Unions, banks, etc. all have strengths and weaknesses in their lending acumen – for example, some may be very good at originating commercial real estate loans, however have difficulty finding quality automobile loans to fund and put on their balance sheet. Their options are either to develop capabilities in-house to shore up the lack of automobile loans, or, work with an institution that is skilled within the automobile loan space, and purchase from them, a portfolio of automobile loans to hold on their balance sheet. This is where we come in.How:Supply and demand rule our company and our team, and we have both, as well as the product to show to those who need it. Working with over 500 depository institutions, VLG aligns both sides daily and is growing quickly. By finding those institutions who are looking to sell and those who are looking to buy, we fill an important role between depository institutions.Who:If you are someone who is motivated, teachable, has a drive to do and be more and wants to determine your own future: we want to talk to you. Specifically, our ideal candidates include people who hold the below characteristics:· 1 – 3 years relevant work experience.· Four year degree, but not required· A basic understanding of capital markets· A basic understanding of banking and loan concepts· A professional level of desire to be more· A professional level of excitement to be a part of a successful start up· Bring with you a high level of organization· Willing to work in a very fast-paced and sometimes stressful industry· Strong ability to think on your feet· Phone skills/email skills/strong follow-up skills· Ability to keep many moving parts straight· Willing to learn the processGive us a call – work remotely, or part time in the office, and join a fast-growing company that can offer you a mountain of opportunity.
