Position : Accounts Receivable Insurance Specialist
Job Description : Summary
The Accounts Receivable Insurance Specialist works diligently monitoring all patient account receivables for assigned payor/s. and processes claims in a timely manner. They also process denials and appeals and forward any refunds to the cash application department, and occasionally assists with contracting issues. . The person in this role must provide exceptional customer service, as they work directly with patients, insurance companies and other departments. The right person for this role will be team oriented, service-minded and empathetic in their approach to our patients and their families.
Key Qualifications
Excellent customer service and computer skills.
Exceptional communication skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize.
Other Requirements
Previous medical office experience preferred.
Pay & Benefit information
This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime. The pay range for this position is $18 to $24.00 per hour DOE.
