Job Description : JOB SUMMARY:The Administrative Assistant works with office staff and provides customer service during and after the real estate closing process. This position requires a professional, courteous, friendly, and very organized individual.Essential Function:Orders payoff statements from lendersAnswers general customer service requests such as pulling copies of documentsHandles moneyAnswers general real estate closing questionsAnswers telephone, screens and directs callsTakes and relays messagesDirects persons to correct destinationsProvides general administrative and clerical support to the Escrow and Title DepartmentsFiles documentsPrepares bank deposits and makes afternoon deliveriesKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Must be very well organizedAbility to operate a computer, calculator, copier, fax machine, and other office equipment. Quickly learn and navigate industry-specific software.Knowledge of Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to Multi-TaskStrong customer service orientationStrong organizational skills and ability to multitask while handling a high volume of workDetail-oriented with excellent oral and written communicationStrong problem-solving skillsExperience in real estate or banking systems is a plusQualifications:High School diploma or GEDValid Alaska Driver’s LicenseMust pass a background checkJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hourBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offRetirement planSchedule:8 hour shiftEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
