Job Description : Sentara is hiring a flexi position up to 12 hours a week on a rotating schedule

As an Administrative Associate with Sentara, you will work in the Emergency Department or Patient Registration. This position’s primary duties include positively identifying the patient, collecting demographic and insurance information, and point of arrival reception. This role allows you to work with both clinical and non-clinical staff and requires excellent customer service skills. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients.

Responsible for scheduling, pre-registration/registration, insurance verification, point of arrival reception, chart preparation and revenue cycle processes for all patients. Functions in a multi-disciplinary environment, which requires the application of excellent customer service skills.

High School Grad or Equivalent
