Job Description : Create a positive impression for each patient, family member, visitor, or staff while pre-admitting, admitting, and/or registering, routing, or escorting patients, family, or visitors, serving as entity resource.
High school education, excellent typing (35 wpm), verbal communication, computer skills, and grammar skills. Good phone etiquette – experience working with patients/customers & knowledge of medical terminology, ability to multi-task with ability to prioritize these tasks & excellent critical thinking skills, knowledge of medical insurance preferred. Positive attitude and ability to get along with others. Able to transport patients by wheelchair.
