THE POSITION
Below is a brief overview of the role, not a full job description.
This position has project team lead responsibility and works closely with ITS Business Applications Support Manager.
Coordinates efforts of other project team members to ensure IT application projects are successful.
Maintains enterprise-level information systems, applications, and configurations.
Interfaces closely with the user community to understand business process flows to seek improvement from the utilization of application software.
Analyzes business processes to develop, implement and maintain original software solutions, and configures and interfaces Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software applications to increase productivity, workflow, capabilities, efficiency and effectiveness of City programs, services and administration.
Work involves meeting with users/customers, analyzing and defining system needs; designing relational database schemes; developing software programs and applications; and implementing, configuring, documenting and maintaining both internal and COTS applications.
Work also involves performing project management for assigned applications projects.
Perform other related duties as required.
