Job Description : Direct Hire position. Must be a US Citizen of Permanent Resident. Local candidates preferred as the position needs to start as soon as possible.Job Summary: Chemical plant operator/mechanic. The position is for a conscientious, dependable individual who must have proven ability to follow detailed instructions and safe practices, monitor process equipment, cleaning and preparing vessels for distillations, loading of raw materials, sampling and drumming off product, and driving forklifts. 5-10 years’ experience operating pharmaceutical chemical process under GMP guidelines is essential. Key contributor to team of BS Chemist supervisor and PhD organic chemist director. On-the-job training will be supplied.Requirements: High school diploma or GED is required, as are a solid work ethic, reading comprehension skills, and the ability to follow written instructions.Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hourSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayExperience:pharmaceutical chemical process under GMP guidelines: 5 years (Required)Work Location: One location
