Position : Cold Brew and Beverage Manager
Job Description : OverviewSteamDot Coffee Roasters leads the Alaska market with Cold Brew product development, innovation and presentations. We’re committed to delivering the cleanest, tastiest Cold Brew products and continue to grow rapidly in that direction. Cold Brew is a natural extension of our dedication to sourcing, roasting and presenting the finest coffees possible as we develop more ready-to-drink coffee products.**(This is not a barista position)**The Cold Brew and Beverage Manger is both head brewer and leader of the packaging team, overseeing various lines of brewing, canning, growler and keg programs. The Cold Brew Manager works closely with the head roaster to maintain high quality products and with the wholesale manager to ensure production values align with SteamDot standards. The position with tremendous growth potential and expansion.Key Duties- Oversee Company-wide Cold Brew and beverage operations.- Recipe control and new product development- Quality Control initiatives and monitoring programs- Customer Support and Education- Member of SteamDot FDA Food Safety ProgramSpecific Duties- Brewing, packaging and drinking Cold Brew Coffee- Planning and inventory management- Distribution and logisticsQualifications- Experience in Specialty Coffee or Craft Beverages preferred.- Ability to work with a team in warehouse/manufacturing environment- Canning experience/knowledge preffered, but not required.Compensation$22-25/hrReports to VPWage eligible for review after 1 year, unless duties significantly increase5 days paid leave annually.Participation in company cell phone planFree CoffeeJob Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountFlexible schedulePaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:All locations have robust COVID-19 precautions in place and all Municipal mandates are being followed.Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Supervising Experience: 1 year (Required)Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location:One locationWork Remotely:NoWork Location: One location
