Position : College Success Counselor
Job Description : Reporting to the Assistant Director, Academic Affairs at Ohio State ATI, the College Success Counselor leads institutional efforts in student retention; leads institutional efforts in student career development and is the liason with the CFAES career team; leads institutional efforts in advisor training and continued education; collaborates with Assistant Director regarding academic actions and administers academic recovery program for students on academic probation; provides individualized academic counseling, retention coaching and intervention, and helps students persist to a college degree; provides individualized services to help students set and monitor academic goals, learn to navigate college procedures and systems, improve self-efficacy and develop career materials and practices; collaborates with transition counselor in the development and instruction of college orientation course; assists with data collection, reporting, and analysis; collaborates with other student support staff, campus faculty/advisors, and others to assist students.
